We didn’t set out to start another agency.

After ten years running one of Australia’s leading digital agencies, I thought that chapter was closed. Then I joined my wife, Emmy, at Kiindred – the parenting platform she founded after we had our first baby…and everything shifted.

Working inside Kiindred, we started to see a clear gap. So many brands in the parenting space had heart and purpose, but their creative and digital presence wasn’t keeping up. As we supported brands through Kiindred, the questions kept coming, could we help more? Could we take this further?

The work felt familiar. We knew how to do it. But this time, it mattered in a different way. Supporting brands in a space we genuinely cared about was hard to ignore. So Kiin came to life – the agency and production arm of Kiindred.

Alongside this, we found ourselves naturally drawn to startups and founders. People building something from the ground up, often needing clarity and guidance around marketing, storytelling and growth. Having launched tech products ourselves, the advisory and mentoring side of this work felt just as rewarding as the creative.

Three babies later, with Kiindred growing and evolving, Kiin has become a place for thoughtful, considered work — focused on parenting, lifestyle and startups, but always open to ambitious people doing meaningful things, regardless of industry.
