We call ourselves the ‘Accidental’ Agency? Why, because I ran one of Australia’s leading digital agencies for ten years and I thought I had done my time in the agency world. I joined my wife Emmy at Kiindred, a parenting platform that she founded after having our first baby.

Soon after joining, we started to realise that there was a big gap for brands within the parenting space that weren’t nailing their digital. The more we worked with brands on the Kiindred side of the business, the more we got asked to take on agency type work.

We knew we were good at it, as we’d been doing it for a long time. But to be able to support brands in the parenting space, one that both Emmy and I were both so passionate about, was too hard to resist….and we decided to launch Kiin, the agency and production arm of Kiindred.

The other area we were really passionate about was the startup space, and in particular tech startups. That, and also helping others as they started their own businesses. We found that a lot of them needed guidance on the marketing side of things, and we really enjoyed the mentoring and advisory that came with it. Having also launched a few tech products ourselves, we started to pick up more work in this space.

So three babies later and with Kiindred growing nicely. we now also have Kiin, a Digital Agency that is mainly focused on the Parenting, Lifestyle & Startup space. In saying that, we love working with ambitious and smart people, irrespective of the industry.
